LAPO S.r.l. was founded in 1973, and is the only company in Europe that produces presentation lenses for the eyewear sector. Supplier to the world's leading companies, it currently manufactures over 40 million presentation lenses using a completely automated system. Lapo srl produces neutral PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate) lenses and PMMA lenses with the addition of a plasticiser with percentages ranging from 20% to 100%. The lenses with added plasticiser, are indicated for nylon frames and rimless frames since they eliminate the tensions during the milling and drilling phases. The range consists in over 40 variants in diameter (65 and 73) Bases (Base 4 - 5 Base - Base 6) thickness (from 1.10 mm. to 3.00 mm.) and material (neutral PMMA and PMMA with a plasticiser). Thanks to the high production flexibility and capacity, LAPO Srl is able to satisfy its customers on a "Just in Time" basis. Focusing on its customer service, Lapo Srl recently expanded its fleet of machinery with three high vacuum systems to produce lenses with anti-reflective and mirror coatings. LAPO Srl produces blue-green and purple anti-reflective presentation lenses to customer demands. It provides outsourced production services with anti-reflective-mirror-REVO-oleophobic-hydrophobic coatings for Nylon, Polycarbonate and CR39 sun glass lenses.
